Study Tips - Cramming
Cramming is not the best way to study for a test, but sometimes it is unavoidable. If you have to cram, use some strategies that you know will work for you, but plan to be ready to study for your next test. Cramming is not the way to get through college. If you cram too much, you will increase your anxiety level, and you will not do as well in your classes. Report Writing Tips - References
Here are some tips on how to properly handle references for reports either as footnotes or endnotes:
- Find out if your instructor prefers footnotes (end of page) or endnotes (end of document)
- Make sure to number your references
- Within the text ensure that you refer to the number either in brackets eg. (1), or in superscript, eg. 2
- There are two main formats that you can use for reports and references MLA or Chicago style (my preference is Chicago)
- (EDIT): Photos, Tables, Diagrams, Equations, numerical facts all should be referenced
